My story started with a dream to come to America- the land of opportunity. In 1988, that dream of mine became a reality. With my goals in sight, I worked hard through the challenges, and was able to achieve my dream of becoming a nurse. Just like many dreamers, millions have traveled all around the world in search of better opportunities and improved lives, not only for themselves but for their families. Thousands of miles away from their loved ones, just to sustain and survive, conquering different ways of life to establish a new beginning. No matter how difficult the journey was, they achieved their goals with hard work and perseverance.
