At the heart of the design is a Filipina in silhouette- rendered in delicate line art- with a Sampaguita bloom tucked gently behind her right ear.  Her gaze is forward.  Her posture is easy.  She does not need to prove anything.

Around her neck hangs the Philippine Sun - the same golden sun that blazes on the national flag.  It reminds her:  she has a voice worth hearing, a story worth telling, and the strength to rise up and say to herself "I am who I am, and that is enough.  I love myself".
